I'm lucky enough today to have a special treat on my blog! I have some interesting content from the Paranormals Tour and I'm a Trick or Treat stop! So lot's to cover let's get on with it!
Three Great Books one Awesome Author
It all began with Jenny Pox and her supernatural touch.
It continued with Tommy Nightmare and he's everything his name says and more.

And it all ends with Alexander Death!
Alexander opens Jenny's mind to her deep past, and to the full horrific extent of her powers.Torn between her feelings for Alexander and Seth, and between her past lives and her present, Jenny must prepare to face her enemies in the final, catastrophic battle...
About JL Bryan - website, Facebook, Twitter, Goodreads

He enjoys remixing elements of paranormal, supernatural, fantasy, horror and science fiction into new kinds of stories. He is the author of The Paranormals trilogy (Jenny Pox, Tommy Nightmare, and Alexander Death). Fairy Metal Thunder is the first book in his new Songs of Magic series. He lives in Atlanta with his wife Christina, his son John, two dogs, and two cats.
Jeff is offering two treats, well three really. One is a Kindle Fire which I know everyone would like to win! It's filled with Jeff's books and a library of other Indie authors and you can choose your own Paranormals skin from the three books. So fill out the form below. You only have to fill it out once during the tour.
And here is some special content from Jeff that isn't included in any of the books. Don't forget to read to the very end, there's a treat at the end. Hearing Darcy's thoughts are a real treat for me! Treat two!
Today we celebrate secondary characters from The Paranormals series—specifically, Darcy Metcalf, an admirer/eager servant of the villain, Ashleigh Goodling. The following is the final edition of Dear Darcy, an advice column written by Darcy Metcalf for The Porcupine’s Quill, the Fallen Oak High School newspaper. Darcy then gave up her column due to “personal issues unbecoming of an advice columnist.”)
Dear Darcy
Dear Darcy,
Is it OK 2 cheat on test? like sometimes? like what if u r only doing it cuz u were busy doin other stuff & didnt study? & u need a good grade? cuz I can copy off the guy next 2 me hes smart
Signed, im goin 2 cheeat NEway
Dear I’m Going to Cheat,
Do not cheat on your test! Cheaters are only cheating themselves, as the old adage goes! Instead, take time, study hard, and learn your subject. It may not be fun, but later you’ll feel the pride of accomplishment and the joy of achievement! You’ll be satisfied knowing you made honest and genuine academic progress. You’ll be a better person for it! I believe in you and I know you’ll change your ways when you read this. And remember, God is watching and He knows whether you’re keeping your eyes on your own paper or not.
Dear Darcy,
I caught my girlfriend kissing another guy. Then we found out she was cheating on both of us with a third guy. What should I do?
Signed, Confused and Sad
Dear Confused,
Oh, gosh...sounds like someone’s in line for a double-dose of forgiveness! Roll up those sleeves and get to work making things right with your girlfriend. It’ll be difficult, but if you try hard enough, you can forgive and forget, and then everything will be great! It’s the right thing to do, and what other choice do you have? You don’t want to end up alone, do you? Loneliness is sad.
Dear Darcy,
I think I have a crush on my best friend. The thing is, we’re both guys. I’m not sure if he likes me back. What should I do?
Signed, Torn and Split
Dear Torn and Split,
RED ALERT! RED ALERT! You two need to stop right now! That is a sin from the Book of Leviticus, which we all still follow, except for all those pages of animal-sacrifice junk.
Anywho, I would say both of you need to get down on your knees together and pray. For a long time. And then you should go get therapy for this sick weird stuff you’re doing. There’s a summer camp in North Carolina run by a minister who specializes in this kind of problem. It’s just a bunch of guys way up in the mountains together, struggling with these issues together. It sounds like just what the doctor ordered for you two. Ask your youth pastor about it.
Dear Darcy,
Is it OK to eat the meat in the school cafeteria? People keep telling me it’s not safe. But I like it! Do you eat the meat? How many times a week do you eat the meat?
Signed, Hot Dog Gobbler
Dear Hot Dog,
First, your name sure is goofy! It’s like a turkey meets a hot dog! Weird-a-roonie!
Second, moving along to your main question. Yes, I for one fully believe the meat is safe to eat. I personally eat the meat almost every day at lunchtime, and it only made me sick once. I’m sure it’s fine for everybody in school to eat the meat.
Dear Darcy,
I don’t know how to say this. Things got a little out of control on Halloween. What are your thoughts on very early pregnancy? I mean very early?
Signed, I’m Late
Dear I’m Late,
How come nobody ever signs their real names? Sheesh. Sometimes I feel like people are just writing me prank letters.
Anywho, my views on pregnancy are that abstinence is the best option! Personally, I’m saving myself for marriage, and I think everyone should do that. A woman saves herself until she becomes one of a man’s wives, that’s what’s in the Bible, which nobody but me seems to read anymore! So I would say that when it comes to “that kind of thing” you have to know when to say “no!” And that’s always. Unless you’re married, which I’m guessing you’re not. So: abstinence is the answer to your question! Easy-peesy.
Darcy Metcalf is an experienced Peer Advisor and Summer Day Camp Counselor. Send questions to DearDarcy@thePorcupinesQuill.fallenoakhigh.edu or put them in the “Dear Darcy” box outside the newspaper room by the cafeteria.
Now for the treat part of the tour! I get to offer you this fabulous treat! It's a bracelet from Esmeralda featuring an ankh. That's all I can really say without blowing the stories for you! But it looks beautiful! And to win it you just need to leave a comment with your name and email address! Simple! I've included the rest of the tour stops for the week below. All this couldn't be down without the fabulous skills of the team at Kismet Book Tours! They just send everything to me and I put it up, so thanks to them as well as Jeff for such awesome books and such great prizes!!
